Garden Plans > 2018: Wonderful Barn Allot-O'Fun-ment
Utilising reclaimed wooden pallets for raised beds to maximise the space with easy to maintain structure. This layout will enable the growing of a diverse range of fruit and vegetables, with space left over for a wildflower meadow suiting two bee hives and a compost heap.

I think we could have a water-proof version of this really easily in the allotment. A good space for it could be just to left of the kale bed, which is in front of the strawberry bed. That's the biggest open space we have that's not meant for wild flowers. All we would need to do is stand the big pole that's there already securely into the ground, then do the same with the longest, thickest branch I cut off the front garden apple tree. Then we just tie a wire between them like a washing line. Waterproof tarpaulins are super cheap, so we could buy one and hang it over the wire whenever we want and secure it to the ground with little stakes.
